Katt Williams Gives Wheelchair Bound Fan $1,000 Backstage

Comedian Katt Williams met a wheelchair bound backstage after a show in Boston, and handed her $1,000.

The woman was spotted crying in the audience when a member of William's security team invited her to come backstage.

According to UPI, the woman said they were tears of joy as she was happy and laughing for the first time since finding out she needed a kidney transplant.

After hearing her story, Williams was moved to give the woman a signed note with $1,000.

The note said, "God never leaves!!" and then had a picture of a smiley face.

The note was folded, and the woman admit-tingly thought he was handing her marijuana. She then said the whole thing was an "awesome surprise."

The light-hearted story bodes well for Williams who has been in the news a lot lately due to child endangerment allegations and gun charges.

He has been arrested four times in the last year and has had a number of highly publicized breakdowns.

The 39-year-old is best known for his role as Money Mike in Friday After Next, his voice over work in The Boondocks, and improve comedy show Wild n' Out with Nick Cannon.

He has eight children, seven adopted.
