Kids In the Way hits #1 on TVU

Flicker Records’ newest signing, Kids In the Way, claimed the #1 spot on TVU’s Ten Most Wanted video show with “We Are,” the first video from their upcoming debut release, Safe From the Losing Fight, which will release on Delcember 26. The song reached the #1 spot less than two weeks after its debut. TVU’s chart positions are selected by viewers via telephone and Internet voting.

The band members include frontman Dave Pelsue, drummer Eric Carter, bassist Nathan Hughes, and guitarists Nathan Ehman and Austin Cobb. The band has been working with producers Jason Burkum (Audio Adrenaline, The Swift, Stereo Motion) and Nathan Dantzler (Audio Adrenaline, Mortal Treason) to combine that live energy with thoughtful, well-crafted lyrics on Safe From the Losing Fight.

Kids In the Way recently wrapped up 2003’s Festival Con Dios Tour, and are currently on tour with labelmate Pillar on the 30-city Underground Uprising Tour.
