This is an intriguing matchup between two teams currently in the top half of the table. At the moment, City are fourth in the league as they are trying to secure their spot in next season's the UEFA Champions League.
On the other hand, Stoke City are ninth at the moment and can finish higher with a few more wins in the closing stages of the season.
City are only two points behind Arsenal who are third at the moment. Despite sitting fourth, City want to climb the table to automatically advance in the European Cup.
They have turned their season around and have not lost in their last four league games. They beat AFC Bournemouth convincingly 4-0, then outlasted West Bromwich Albion 2-1 before adding to Chelsea's misery with a 3-0 victory.
However, in their last game, City had to settle for a point with a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.
Now, with only four games left in the season, City have a real shot to climb the rankings as they only have one team left to face who are above them at the moment.
On the other hand, Stoke City are desperately trying to look for a win as they have only won once in their last six league games.
They last beat Watford in the league and have tasted heavy defeats in their last two games.
Against Liverpool, Stoke City were thrashed at Anfield 4-1, and when they hosted Tottenham Hotspur, they allowed four goals again as they failed to put the ball past the defence.
However, one thing going for them at the moment against City is their 2-0 win at the Britannia Stadium earlier this year.
