Marooned Snorkelers Saved Thanks to Giant 'SOS' - See the Dramatic Rescue (VIDEO)
A group of snorkelers was enjoying a day off the coast of Queensland, Australia when their boat drifted away despite having dropped anchor. Unable to swim to the boat, the group climbed onto a rocky island without food, water or cell phones.
Unsure of their prospects, the five friends took the next natural step, according to TV and TV: They wrote a huge 'SOS' in the sand. And it led a rescue helicopter directly to them after another boat came across the group's runaway vessel.
