4 things to know about mysterious transgender student mailers in Texas

2. Transgender advocacy group locks website after denying involvement

While TENT has publicly said the text messages, which The Christian Post first reported on Oct. 14, and physical mailers “were not authored, authorized, approved, or distributed by TENT and are not affiliated with our organization,” the advocacy group locked its website this week.

Featuring a single page with a statement shared with CP and other media outlets, the TENT website also now displays a Mariah Carey GIF with the caption “Why are you so obsessed with me?”

TENT also suspended its planned “Trans Texas Takeover” tour, citing increased safety threats and risks of violence, according to MS Now.
