Pastor Jamal Bryant blurted out the words "these hoes ain't loyal" during his recent sermon entitled "I'm My Enemies Worst Nightmare" and is now being criticized by many, includiong NYC Power 105.1 DJ and host Charlemagne the God.

Bryant was the subject of the shock jockey's "Donkey of the Day" segment this week where he exposes what he deems to be less than acceptable behavior from public figures.

"Now I'm all for pastors and even teachers trying to speak the language of the people they are trying to reach but Pastor Jamal Bryant of Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, Maryland, he took it a little too far," said Charlemagne.

He goes on to play the clip where Bryant uses lyrics from Chris Browns hit record "Loyal" to make a point about men and women during his sermon.

"Every brother would you tap another brother and say I should have listened to her. God help me, all saints here forgive me but I gotta tell you these hoes ain't loyal!" yelled Bryant.

Charlemagne laughed about the sound bite before giving his two cents on it.

"I don't care what Pastor Jamal Bryant was preaching about during his sermon, it is never any reason for a pastor to say 'these hoes ain't loyal,'" he said.

He also goes on to explain why his message probably had nothing to do with the song concept for Chris Brown's "Loyal" which is about women cheating on their boyfriends with a rich man.

"First of all, what is Pastor Jamal Bryant doing listening to secular music anyway?" asked Charlemagne. "He needs to be listening to Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary."

Using popular culture to convey a message has been common in the church since Paul used excerpts from poems by the Greek poet Aratus to preach the Gospel in the book of Acts.
