'Rookie Blue' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Season 7 Still Unconfirmed, Andy to Discover Marlo's Pregnancy

The future of "Rookie Blue" is still hanging up in the air. Executive producer and writer Tassie Cameron previously told the public that the purported Season 7 renewal is still not confirmed while its upcoming 6th season is slated to open on ABC this June 25.

"There are the actors, and there are contracts. ... I don't know. I think it's still up in the air. It's a conversation we'll be having in the next couple of weeks," Cameron told the Latin Post.

The executive producer teased that the brand new season will tackle the Ted McDonald bomb plot.

A report from Enstars said that the Season 6 opener will see how Andy will fare with the news concerning Sam's pregnancy.

A clip provided by the network and shared on the publication reveals Sam's eagerness to tell Andy about Marlo's situation.

"It's better to know the truth, right?" Sam asked. "No matter what it is? That's what you think? What you believe?"

Andy, who is apparently stressed out on a case that had gone wrong, asked what Sam really intended to say.

"It's about Marlo, she's pregnant," Sam confessed.

Although he didn't tell Andy that he's the father of the baby, Sam's words implicated him to be the one responsible of the conception. He further revealed that Marlo is already eight weeks pregnant.

"I only heard about it last night. I was on my way over to tell you …" Sam's confession got cut off as Andy made her way out of the patrol car.

Sam followed after and pleaded for her not to leave. An upset Andy then motioned Sam to back off: "I just need a second, a day, or …"

Canada fans are already on their way for the second episode of the show. For US viewers, "Rookie Blue" will start airing its premiere episode on Thursday, June 25 at 10/9c on ABC.
