Jesus' Parable of the Unmerciful Servant in Matthew 18:21-35 is a striking lesson in forgiveness, mercy and the consequences of withholding them. It's rich in wisdom, but there's nothing really that I would consider 'cute.'
Yet, First Baptist Church of Marble Falls found a way to make the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant mercilessly adorable. The Texas church had children record narration of the passage, with their own youthful spin, and then adults acted it out word-for-word. It's as surreal and funny as you'd think.
