'Suits' Season 5 Release Date: Renewed or Canceled? Summer 2015 Date Being Touted

The USA Network drama "Suits" just ended its season 4 run Aug. 20 and immediately renewed the series for a season 5 run a day after.

Season 5 will be running for sixteen episodes confirmed by USA Network president Chris McCumber.

"Suits continues to fire on all cylinders, delivering provocative storytelling and complex characters that viewers can't get enough of. With some of the best writing on television, and a brilliant ensemble cast, we anticipate a spectacular fifth season for a serie sthat has become a marquee property for USA," McCumber had said.

Season 4 ended with Louis' resignation from Pearson Specter and his struggles to get another job. He is unable to, however, as his partnership agreement prevents him from taking any Pearson Specter client.

Harvey then finds Louis a job in Cincinnati and Boston which Louis rejects after Sheila rejects his love for her.

In order to lift Louis' spirits up, Mike goes to his office and retrieves some things for them to reminisce about. One of those things was a mysterious key which Mike also brings to Louis. In an abrupt turn of events, Louis finds out that Mike is not a Harvard graduate at all since if he was, he would recognize what the key was.

Louis then goes on to tell Jessica and threatens to tell Sheila if he was not made partner a partner of Pearson Specter Litt.

Fans were left on the edge of their seats and holding their breaths with the explosive and dramatic season finale.

Season 5 doesn't have definite premiere date yet but it is set to come out sometime in the summer of 2015.
