'Suits' Season 7: Is Meghan Markle Leaving?

Rumor has it that USA Network's "Suits" may lose another main character. Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel Zane, is reportedly considering leaving the series.

It is widely known that Markle is currently in a relationship with Prince Harry, and there has been some talk of the actress departing the show because things are getting serious between them. However, fans can rest assured that Rachel will still be appearing in season 7.

According to TVLine, Markle has already signed up for the seventh season, along with the rest of the cast. A spokesperson confirmed this to the publication.

And while fans can still look forward to seeing Markle in season 7, it remains to be seen if she will continue on for another season following that. E! Online reports that the actress has been thinking about retiring from her profession in order to pour all her efforts into other things.

"Even before Harry, she was starting to think about transitioning out of acting," a source told the media outlet. "She wants to focus on other worldly endeavors she is passionate about, like her philanthropy."

Unfortunately, this will remain a rumor until a confirmation is given. Readers are advised to take this with a grain of salt.

As for what season 7 will bring to the table, fans can expect to witness a different dynamic at the Pearson Specter Litt law firm now that Mike (Patrick J. Adams) is officially a lawyer. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) is also preparing to take on a more major role at the firm, while Louis (Rick Hoffman) has to deal with his broken heart following his breakup with Tara.

Speaking of Louis, it is likely that season 7 will feature him undergoing therapy in order to cope with his failed relationship, as the role of a psychiatrist is currently being cast.

"Suits" season 7 will debut in the summer.
