Take a Ride on an Orphaned Pelican's Beak as It Learns to Fly (VIDEO)
GoPro cameras, the popular small, wearable video recorders, are letting us see the world in ways we never thought possible. This new GoPro video stars Bigbird, a young pelican who got separated from its flock in Tanzania. The staff at safari resort Greystoke Mahale took the pelican in and taught it to fly.
But before Bigbird's maiden flight, the bird's handlers put a small GoPro camera on its beak to capture the view. No surprise here, it's stunning.
