This Awe-Inspiring Time-Lapse of the Aurora Borealis Shows God's Glory in the Sky (VIDEO)

Romans 1:20 says that God's eternal power and divine nature can be clearly seen throughout creation. That fact is on display as much as anywhere in the aurora borealis, commonly known as the "Northern Lights," which is a result of energetic charged particles colliding with atoms in the high atmosphere.

Thanks to a clever programmer from London named Paul Williams, we have a front-row view of the colorful phenomenon in a time-lapse video.

Williams explains on YouTube:

"Flying on a Virgin Atlantic flight from London to New York when the aurora forecast was high, I balanced my camera on a rucksack and left it snapping away out the window ... what an amazing spectacle was to be seen!"
