TYGA Shooting Delays Concert Tour, 2 Members Shot
TYGA and his entourage have been involved in a shooting directly following the rapper's concert in Omaha, Nebraska on Monday. Two members were shot.
TYGA, which stands for Thank You God Always, was involved in the incident after what started as members of the audience throwing things on stage. The rapper appeared to single out one concertgoer and accused him of throwing things.
Although becoming angry, TYGA attempted to start the next song but as things continued to get thrown on stage he became furious and suggested that the member who was throwing things should meet him outside after the concert.
Directly following the concert TYGA and his entourage, which included Sochitla Sal, who is better known as Honey Cocaine and Derrick Lowe, were followed as they went to their van by a black, four door sedan. Several shots were fired at the van, one of which hit Honey in the arm, another grazing Lowe in the hip.
Honey was taken to Creighton University Medical Center, but Lowe refuse treatment on the scene.
The next day on Twitter, Honey confirmed that she had been shot but was fine. "Got shot and I'm not dead. #LoveLifeAndGod," she wrote.
TYGA referred to the shooters as haters. "Let's be clear them was haters not fans. My fans love me I love them," TYGA stated Tuesday.
TYGA had a show Tuesday in Denver which was canceled after the shooting incident occurred. "Postponing Denver show tonight. Rather give yall the best at my best. #CarelessWorldTour," TYGA wrote later Tuesday.
"S*** happens and as a Man I deal with those decisions I make.." he added.
TYGA's Careless World tour began in February to promote his second studio album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King. The next tour date is scheduled for Wednesday night in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
