British Prime Minister David Cameron talks about how Christianity benefits his country in an Easter message posted on YouTube this week.
Cameron commends the "countless acts of kindness by those who believe in and follow Christ" as well as the broad social good done by ministries that serve the homeless and those in prison. He also makes a call to remember the persecuted Church around the world and affirms that "religious freedom is an absolute, fundamental human right," one which Britain is committed to "protecting and promoting."
In August 2013, Cameron described himself as a practicing Christian and an active member of the Church of England.
