During a Ukrainian celebration of Victory Day, held May 9 to mark when Germany surrendered to the Soviet Union in World War II, a 77-year-old veteran engaged in a push-up contest with a group of young men likely 50 years his junior.
In this video from YouTube user Egor KO, the septuagenarian's effort is not only valiant, it's jaw-dropping. As the youngsters around him slow and drop out, the vet churns out push-ups with machine-like precision until the competition ends. I didn't keep count, but I have no problem declaring him the Victory Day victor.
