'WWE 2K15' PS4, Xbox One Release Date, Reviews: Coming November 18, Game Gets Mixed Feedback

2K Sports' professional wrestling fighting game, "WWE 2K15," was first released on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct. 28 some two weeks ago while the Playstation 4 and Xbox One ports still face a Nov. 18 release.

While the game has received mixed reviews for the last-gen consoles, there is a running pressure for the next-gen ports, which are still to be released. In the reviews, a large portion of the criticisms lie with the game's lack of improvement over the previous game "WWE 2K14."

Don Saas from Gamespot has given the game a 4 out of 10, writing that the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game "flat retreads of their forebears at best and stripped-down expansion packs at their worst." Additionally, he writes that the controls are worse than before.

Ben Potter from Push Square gave the game a 6 out of 10, writing that "the recycled gameplay and samey ideas present in the last-gen effort leave a lot to be desired."

Bryan Vore from Game Informer has given the game a 7 out of 10 saying that the various difficulty levels were an issue.

"The jarring difficulty levels are all over the place here compared to the more natural difficulty curve in the main 2K Showcase career," Vore wrote.

In the meantime, it seems that the DLC for either the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 versions won't be carrying over to the next-gen ports. This would mean that fans would have to re-purchase the the DLCs for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One at full price.
