'Agents of SHIELD' Season 3 Episode 7 Spoilers: Coulson And Rosalind Romantic Link Expected? Mark Dacascos Joins Cast
Although they were first sworn enemies when it came to finding the Inhumans, fans should be on the lookout for that transformation in the relationship between Director Phil Coulson and ATCU's own Rosalind Price as the third season of ABC's hit superhero drama TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." continues. Meanwhile, an action star joins the growing cast member's list of the show.
Fans might have to tone down their judgment and maybe put into consideration the possibility that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s director could find more than an ally in Roz. But this relationship might not happen too soon based on what the show's bosses told Entertainment Weekly.
"Coulson has obviously been in the spy game for so long that he couldn't pick up the signals Roz was throwing his way and assumed the worst," the show's representative told the media outlet.
Followers may remember the organization leader already barring himself from any kind of extracurricular relationships since his death and resurrection.
However, S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producers did give some hints that the character could either "allow someone in for the first time on the series" or he would opt to close up entirely as he's already "too far gone in the game of espionage."
In the casting side of things, Deadline has reported this weekend that "Hawaii Five-O" alum Mark Dacascos has joined the series for a "heavily recurring role."
The publication particularly pointed out that he will be portraying the character named Giyera – the head of security for S.H.I.E.L.D.
Further details, this time coming from Screen Rant, said that the "Brotherhood of the Wolf" star will appear in the show's eighth episode of the current series which is titled "Many Heads, One Tale."
But before fans will get to see the romance blossoming between Coulson and Ros as well as the debut of Dacascos' Giyera, the show is slated to air this week with the seventh episode titled "Chaos Theory." The synopsis (via ComicBook.com) indicates that Agent Fitz will help Agent Simmons gather information that may lead them back through the portal which the latter had gone through before.
"Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 airs every Tuesday, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
