Apple iPhone X News: Pre-orders Are Now Available

The smartphone competition has reached new heights, as tech giants seem to be determined to bring the best flagship that will gain the most attention from the consumers. One such company is Apple, and with the pre-orders now live for the iPhone X, the rumor mill seems to be rife with activity, as recent reports have revealed that the tech giant is off to a rocky start.

Apple is currently grappling to ensure that the iPhone X makes it to the market on time, and there may be sacrifices along the way.

One of the most attention-grabbing rumors from just days before the pre-orders was that Apple may have reduced the quality of the Face ID to ramp up the production of the highly anticipated iPhone X. The news comes from people who are familiar with the situation, and the rumor incited new doubts on the success of Apple's latest flagship.

However, considering the sensitivity of the issues, the tech giant had to respond to the claims.

"Bloomberg's claim that it reduced the accuracy spec for Face ID is completely false and we expect Face ID to be the new gold standard for facial authentication," Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller said in a statement, as reported by Bloomberg. "The quality and accuracy of Face ID haven't changed; it continues to be one in a million probability of a random person unlocking your iPhone with Face ID."

Furthermore, reports are also urging fans to pre-order the iPhone X as soon as possible. Apparently, even though the quality of the Face ID may have narrowly escaped a cut, Apple is still facing production problems, and analysts believe that stocks may not last enough for all the consumers looking to buy it. Regardless, fans are expecting the tech giant to formulate a solution soon before they lose the trust of the consumers.

The iPhone X is now available for pre-order, and it is priced at $999 for the base model. It is scheduled to be released on Nov. 3.
