'Arrow' Season 5 News and Updates: Felicity Changes in the Season; Cast, Plot, Release Date

"Arrow" has been evolving since the series started. There were more characters in the show and the events that unfolded had been unpredictable. In Season 5, there will be additional characters and changes; also Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will be a different person once the series kicks in.

The cast has been handed the script for the upcoming season and Felicity shared in a report how she felt about the script when she first read it.

She noted that the fifth season is exciting since there will be more characters and there are a lot of changes to the series. She added that this time, the characters have more to offer. In addition to that, they will also be on their 100th episode in Season 5. 

Rickards also shared that her character, Felicity, has to change because of everything that has happened to her in the past seasons. She was always the one with the soft heart in Team Arrow, but this time, the viewers will see a different side of her.

Aside from the changes in Felicity's character, her relationship with Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will also change. After the couple broke up, a lot of challenges will get in their way. Despite the break-up, they need to stay as a team and work together in Team Arrow. How will these two handle that?

 More Action in the Season 

Season 5 will not only show Felicity's changes, but will also showcase changes in the action scenes. The season will introduce more villains for Team Arrow to conquer. There will definitely be more action this season.

Most of Team Arrow will also be dealing with their own emotions through fighting villains. Each of the members have something in the past seasons that is causing them pain.

In the upcoming show, there will be more changes to come in Star City. Felicity will have a new love interest; there will be crossovers and more villains to fight for Team Arrow. It has also been confirmed that the latest addition to the show's villains is Dolph Lundgren who will be portraying the character, Bratva. Bratva is known to be the head of the Russian mob and will be one of the most challenging villains for the team.

 Arrow Season 5 will be back on the CW Network on October 5, 2016.
