Ashley Tisdale Wedding Plans Include 'Small' Ceremony

Ashley Tisdale is discussing her upcoming wedding to Christopher French, revealing that the ceremony will be a private affair.

The 28-year-old actress got engaged to French following an elaborate proposal atop New York City's Empire State Building back in August. Just one week later, Tisdale was spotted shopping with her fiancé, where she debuted her sparkling diamond engagement ring.

Many celebrities such as Catherine Zeta-Jones have opted for lavish wedding ceremonies held at the best hotels and resorts in the world. However, Tisdale said she and French want their nuptials to be "small, and as private as we can get it," according to E! News.

Nevertheless, the "Scary Movie 5" star said that planning the wedding is "so much fun," but that she and her fiancé have not yet selected a wedding date.

As for her relationship with French, Tisdale admitted that getting engaged after just eight months of dating also came as a surprise to her.

"You know, I didn't [think it'd happen that quickly]," she acknowledged to E! News. "I think from the moment that him and I met, I just knew it."

Tisdale went on to gush about her husband-to-be, explaining that French felt the same way at the time of their introduction.

"I was like, 'OK, this is the guy,' and he knew the same thing," she said. "It was just this feeling that it doesn't get any better. I can't explain it! It's just natural between us. With other relationships, you're trying too much and trying to make it work and then there's just a moment when you find somebody and you're like, 'Holy s---! This is so natural.'"

Meanwhile, Tisdale and French are currently searching for their marital home, reported Mail Online.

It comes as no surprise that Tisdale is marrying French, a musician, according to a source close to the star.

"She likes those rocker types," said the insider, according to Us Weekly.

The marriage will be a first for both the actress and French.
