Ubisoft has announced that it is ending its spin-off series "Assassin's Creed Chronicles" in February 2016 and what better way to do this than by releasing the last two entries of the series. According to a report in Eurogamer, "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India" will be available on January 12 while "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia" will be available on February 9.
The last two entries complete the trilogy of episodes, the first of which was "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China" and was released in April 2015. In February, a trilogy pack which includes all three entries in one physical disc or digital download will also be made available to gamers. This pack will be for all platforms: PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In the "India" episode, the game is set during a time when the tension between the Sikh Empire and the East India Company is very high, in the year 1841. It said: "When a Master Templar arrives with a mysterious item that used to belong to the Assassin Order, Arbaaz Mir must discover why the Templar has come, steal back the item and protect his friends and his lover." The final episode titled "Russia" is set in 1918 Russia, where Assassin Nikolai Orelov needs to complete one last mission for the Order before he is allowed to leave with his family. He needs to retrieve an artifact that can be found with the Tsar's family, who are being held by the Bolsheviks. He was able to retrieve the artifact and save the princess Anastasia.
