'Assetto Corsa' Update 1.13 Live for PC, Adds New Cars and Several Multiplayer Features

Reversed grid races included in 'Assetto Corsa's' latest update

A new update is now available for the PC version of "Assetto Corsa," and it is a substantial one that includes quite a few notable additions.

The contents of Update 1.13 were posted over on the game's official Steam page, and as players can see, there are some new cars included in this downloadable.

Both the Mazda MX-5 Miata NA as well as the Mazda 787B are included in the update, and these newly added speedsters should be delightful additions for racing enthusiasts.

Also included in the update is the Porsche 911 RSR 2017, and those players who have "Porsche Pack 3" will be able to use this new car inside the game as well.

Players can now also benefit from the addition of the downshift protection alert, while those who prefer that this not be active inside the game can still turn it off via the launcher options.

A new Pitstop quick menu has also been added to the game via Update 1.13 to go along with Pitstop arrows for the DirectInput D-pad.

Different multiplayer features are also included in the latest update for the PC version of "Assetto Corsa."

Among the multiplayer additions are the reversed grid races that should present skilled players with greater challenges to overcome as they attempt to defeat their competitors.

There's also a Mandatory Pit feature that PC players can now turn on whenever they take part in a multiplayer race. The addition of the Mandatory Pit is also intended to bring in a new strategic element to the game, as players will now have to keep it in mind even as they are speeding along on the tracks.

Car Steam ID sharing as well as a new feature for Pickup Mode are also available now for PC players to check out.

Update 1.13 is also expected to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "Assetto Corsa" sometime in the near future.
