'Awkward' season 5 episode 4 spoilers and episode 3 recap: Matty becomes unpopular; senior yearbook problems

In the upcoming episode of "Awkward" titled "Now You See Me, Now I Don't," the official synopsis reads, Jenna gets depressed by the senior superlative in her yearbook.

In the preview for the episode, it seems that the main plotline involves the senior yearbook and the day that is dedicated to that little piece of high school history. A very select group of people decide what will go in the book and there are also random awards for most likely. So, how will Jenna react when she is voted most disappointing? What did Matty write on Jenna's yearbook?

The previous episode began the day after the beach bash that Jenna missed but it caused her social status to skyrocket. In the hallway at school, Jenna has been getting hellos from everyone and the Julies had taken a quick selfie with her.

Matty, on the other hand, lost his status as the king of the school after he fought with Jakes over the whole Gabby incident. He became unpopular, while Jenna became popular. Jenna was sympathetic and all but not for long as she took advantage of her newfound social status.

Matty had gotten a bitter taste of unpopularity. He was picked last for gym class and no cute girls smiled at him anymore. He got the burnt end of a pizza in the cafeteria, instead of his usual fresh one. Someone even threw a piece of garbage at his head.

Kyle and Leroy began to teach Matty the ways of the unpopular people. Matty was taught to nab food from the home economics room trash can, pee in a bucket, and befriend spiders. Matty appreciated their effort to help him.

Meanwhile, Jenna was hanging out with the Julies and some college guys who she deemed boring as hell since all they talked about was football. She is assigned a hunk and she made out with him. Jenna eventually ditched the date, in order to hang out with T.

Matty and Jenna both realized that they were not missing anything at all and that where they were was where they were meant to be.
