'Bachelor in Paradise' Finale Part 1 Recap: Three Couples Now on the Spotlight

Couple count is now down to eight. Who will get engaged in the end?

A new girl showed up at the last minute of "Bachelor in Paradise" Finale Part One.

The new girl is Tiara Soleim, also known as the chicken enthusiast. She will pose as a challenge to everyone, now that all of them have already been coupled up.

With Tiara coming in, Nick Viall used this as an opportunity to level up his game. He asked Tiara if she could give him the date card so he can go out with Jen to the carnival.

With Tiara's approval, Nick and Jen went to the carnival. They went to a tarot card reader where they received warning words such as "rough" and "watch out". Fortunately, Nick was able to say the right words to Jen and get away from that negative aura.

On the other hand, Brett Melnick is still in a bind choosing between Lauren Himle and Izzy Goodkind. However, in the Finale Part One, it became obvious that he's leaning towards Lauren more than Izzy.

The Rose Ceremony

When the episode shifted to the final rose ceremony, Brett ended up choosing no one because he did not feel the spark with any of the girls he had to choose from: Jami Letain, Ashley Iaconetti and Shushanna Mkrtychyan. Shushanna also chose to leave because she doesn't want to get involved with the hunt anymore.

As for the other men, it seemed like they knew who to choose. Evan Bass picked Carly WadeellJosh Murray chose Amanda StantonGrant Kemp selected Lace Morris; and Nick pulled Jen. Fans of the popular reality TV show were thrilled as Wells turned to Ashley and gave her the rose. Tiara and Jami were sent back home.

As the episode progressed, Wells was thrilled to learn that Ashley is still a virgin. Because of this, he went to her upfront and told her that he's ready for anything to happen. Even though they have the spark, Wells' move made Ashley upset. Ashley eventually left the fantasy suite and tweeted the reason why.

Down to Eight

Things are heating up with the remaining eight.

Three couples are under the spotlight right now due to each pair's relationship development.

As for Evan and Carly, they are looking for ways not to admit that they are already in love. This is to avoid having to deal with the same dilemma Kirk went through last season.

Meanwhile, Jen and Nick are doing the same and for the same reason. However, no one can tell yet whether they are already in love or they are just really into each other.

Grant and Lace weren't afraid of the consequences. After they both got tattoos, Lace told Grant that she's already in love.

Finale Part Two is just about to start.

We are yet to find out who among these couple will get engaged.

"Bachelor in Paradise" ends tonight (Tuesday) at 8PM on ABC.
