Ben Affleck News: Actor Continues to Get Support from Jennifer Garner Despite Living Separate Lives

While Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may be soon an officially estranged couple, the "Miracles from Heaven" star continues to support her would-be ex in more ways than one.

According to reports, Affleck and Garner were recently spotted attending a meeting at their children's school in Los Angeles. As seen on the photos, Garner was smiling while talking and walking alongside Affleck. 

It has been learned that the sighting of the estranged couple happened on the same day Affleck's friend and fellow actor Matt Damon revealed to the media that he and the "Justice League" star were aware that controversial film mogul Harvey Weinstein had sexually harassed actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

To recall, Affleck tweeted that he was saddened and angry over the numerous claims of sexual harassment and rape against Weinstein. However, former "Charmed" actress Rose McGowan, one of Weinstein's complainants, accused Affleck of lying, insisting that the actor knew of Weinstein's supposed sexual harassment and rape cases, specifically the assault on Paltrow.

Weinstein was instrumental in Affleck and Damon's movie careers as his former movie outlet, Miramax, produced "Good Will Hunting." 

Apart from having been accused of lying by McGowan, Affleck was also accused of acting inappropriately towards former "One Tree Hill" actress and then MTV correspondent Hilarie Burton. According to the actress, Affleck groped her during his appearance at TRL (Total Request Live) back in 2003.

Affleck admitted to his mistake and apologized to Burton in a tweet as well.

Despite Affleck's controversies, though, some can't help but commend the actor for his dedication to addressing his alcohol problems. To recall, the actor admitted in a Facebook post earlier this year that he had subjected himself to a rehabilitation program to fix his alcohol addiction.

While the actor has not spoken about his battle with alcoholism after his reveal about it, reports claim that he proceeded to another rehab session after he and Garner attended the school meeting.

Affleck and Garner filed for divorce last April after announcing their separation in June 2015. 

The "Justice League" actor is currently in a relationship with "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus.
