'Better Call Saul' Season 3 Spoilers, News: Saul Goodman Is Finally Appearing This Season

For the past two seasons, fans have been waiting to see Saul Goodman, the good, old lawyer from "Breaking Bad." Fortunately, it has been confirmed that he will finally show up in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

However, fans of "Breaking Bad" may not be so happy about the next bit of news. Bob Odenkirk, Jimmy McGill himself, explained that the Saul Goodman fans will see isn't who they've been expecting. "For the first time, we get to see Saul Goodman. But not the way you think. You'll get to see Saul Goodman, but he is not what you saw in Breaking Bad. That character will appear but in a slightly different form than you've seen it," he told the Hollywood Reporter.

It remains to be seen what kind of change the new Saul Goodman will display. Fans saw him as the sly guy during his "Breaking Bad" days. However, it appears that in the upcoming season of "Better Call Saul," Saul will not be the sleazy lawyer he once was. After all, the series shows who Saul was before he got involved with Giancarlo Esposito's Gus Fring.

As for the highly anticipated appearance of Gus Fring, there's big news. Odenkirk revealed that Gus will definitely be back. The biggest drop is, "there is a story with him." Fans may finally get to know Gus in his earlier days, how his blue meth empire started, and how he got to where he was in "Breaking Bad."

Unfortunately, Odenkirk did not reveal anything about the other highly anticipated character that fans have been wanting to see in the spinoff. It appears that the appearance of Bryan Cranston's Walt White is still unlikely in "Better Call Saul" season 3.

Meanwhile, The Independent notes that Gus Fring's arrival in the new season will have a very big impact on Saul's story. It remains to be seen how the two characters will interact but fans can expect big revelations in the new installment.

"Better Call Saul" season 3 hits Netflix screens on April 10.
