Beyonce Charging Fans $25,000 to Work for Her Without Pay

Beyonce fans are being given the chance to work for the singer for one day, however rather than being paid, the chosen candidate will have to pay $25,000 for the rare opportunity.

The Grammy award-winning singer, 31, is auctioning the work opportunity via CharityBuzz.com and all proceeds will reportedly go to the the Knowles' Miss A Meal hunger campaign, which is designed to feed millions of Americans. The $25,000 package includes a meet-and-greet with Beyonce herself; two VIP tickets to her Los Angeles show; a chance to spend the day working with Beyonce's mother Tina in the wardrobe department and a Mrs. Carter Show World Tour "gift bag," according to The Huffington Post.

The bidding, which ends June 11, had received 10 bids and reached $11,500 by June 5. While avid fans are excited about the rare opportunity, critics expressed outrage over what they deem to be an unreasonable price.

"Disgusting! Beyonce is rich, she should just make the $25,000 donation herself rather than asking her fans to do it! #rip-off," Tiara tweeted.

"Does Beyonce think that she's that important that ppl will PAY $25,000 to work 4 her 4 free? That is theft in my opinion. Not worth it!" Gabby tweeted.

"So let me get this straight. You have to pay Beyonce $25,000 to work FOR her for free? LOL! Get over yourself, her ego is out of this world!" Duke tweeted.

The Miss A Meal campaign is supported by Tina, Beyonce, sister Solange, and singers Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The women partnered up with Bread of Life, Inc. of Houston, TX., to help end hunger.

Donors are encouraged to literally miss a meal and donate the money they would have spent to those in need.

"When we say 'we are starving,' we have to remember that there are people who are literally starving," Tina, 59, said in a press release. "If everyone fed one person, one meal, we could make a huge difference."

Beyonce previously spoke about her family's longstanding partnership with Bread of Life, which seeks to help the less fortunate.

"I was 13 and my sister Solange was 8 when we started donating and serving meals to the homeless after church," Beyonce said.

"There were people from all walks of life, even children, who needed a meal. We learned that we are all three paychecks away from poverty. It was a lesson in humility for all of us," she explained.
