Black Friday 2011 Deals: Macy's Offers Sale on Men's Clothing

The men on your holiday gift list are sometimes the toughest to shop for. But if you are planning to go the gear route by bestowing new outfits on the fathers, husbands, sons and brothers on your list then Macy's may be the place to search.

On Black Friday, the men's clothing department at Macy's is offering significant savings on dress and casual wear that includes jackets, shoes and vests from well-known brands.

If your dad is the kind of guy who sports the color orange, there’s a sale special on cashmere sweaters available in sizes small to extra large for $79.99, down from $150. If he’d rather stick to subtler shades, it appears the cashmere special is available in assorted, solid shades too.

If the cashmere route is too steep for your budget, Macy's offers a sale price of $21.99 on other sweaters that are regularly priced at between $55 and $65. The $21.99 sweaters are select styles from Oscar de la Renta, Geoffrey Beene and Alfani.

A Macy's Black Friday shopper can score a weatherproof Sherpa fleece jacket for $24.99, down from $70. While they are browsing around the outerwear section, shoppers can also benefit from checking out the IZOD section as puffer vests are also on sale for $24.99, which are regularly priced between $60 and $100.

If your man is in need of new kicks, there are a few snazzy, sleek pairs of Steve Madden boots on sale for $39.99, down from $70.

Arguably one of the biggest brands on sale in the men's department at Macys on Black Friday is Timberland. Timberland sport shirts and fleece vests are 65 percent off.

But do not worry if the guys in your life are underwhelmed with a Timberland T-shirt or orange cashmere sweater. Another option could be the $11.99 John Ashford Flannel sport shirts, which are a standard button-up available in multiple sizes, colors and prints.
