'Bloodborne' DLC News, Details: 'The Old Hunters' Adds The League On Its Content List

Fans of FromSoftware and Sony's action role-playing video game, "Bloodborne," will be getting new content that will be included in the upcoming expansion pack that will be released this month.

Citing the details from the PlayStation blog, "The Old Hunters" DLC will be bringing a handful of new in-game improvements and content which includes the latest co-op NPC hunter called "The League" this Nov. 24.

The website described the aforementioned organization as a group of Hunters who have "taken an oath and are bound by a single purpose." Led by a mysterious figure who has a bucket for a helmet, players who join the League have the ability to summon co-op NPCs via The League cane to aid them in completing some of the game's hardest quests and toughest bosses.

Other than the ones above, players can also join other players online and compete in The League leaderboard rankings.

Masaaki Yamagiwa, producer for Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio, added in the blog post a preview of some of the new weapons that players can brandish once they install "The Old Hunters." Among the highlighted weapons is the Moonlight Sword.

Per the site's full description of the DLC: "Experience the nightmare of the hunters who once guarded Byrgenwerth's deepest, darkest secrets and uncover the mystery behind Yharnam's sinister past."

Revealed at the recently-held Tokyo Game Show, "The Old Hunters" also pits players to face the horrific beast Ludwig and wield the new weapon called Simon's Bowblade. They will also be able to use the new magic called Blacksky Eye.

Those who put up their pre-orders ahead of the DLC release date can get an exclusive PS4 Theme. Since the expansion pack requires the full game, would-be players can get the game plus the DLC at $49.99.
