'Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King' News: Popular PC Game Arriving to Nintendo Switch This Winter

Following its success when it was released on PC earlier this year, the RPG "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King" is now confirmed to arrive at the Nintendo Switch.

FDG has announced that the console version of the popular PC game "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King" is arriving at the Nintendo Switch exclusively this winter. The announcement also came with a charming debut trailer, teasing Nintendo Switch owners what they can expect from the game.

In "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King," players will assume the role of Lilly, a Knight of the Rose, who will go on an epic adventure to save the Kingdom of Blossom from the emerging threat of evil. In order to protect the kingdom from its doom, players, as Lily, must go through monster-dominated dungeons, collect a wide variety of weapons, use magic spells, solve treacherous puzzles, and defeat powerful bosses.

As the game is pixelated, some can't help but feel nostalgic about "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King." However, when the game was released to PC in March this year, many opine that it bears some similarities to the games "Zelda: Link's Awakening" and "Zelda: A Link to the Past."

Despite the similarities of "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King" to the said "Zelda" games, the upcoming Nintendo Switch game has other unique things to offer. For one thing, the game boasts of a lot of side quests, including the player encountering innocent villagers asking for Lily's help.

While the game's so-called fetch quests can be dull and boring at times, they are meant to add an extra reward for players that they can find by checking all the little nooks and crannies on the map, solving optional puzzles, or by simply being observant. As it also comes with side quests that can be completed while the players work on their main quest, more perks are up for grabs as the story of the "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King" moves forward.

Nintendo has yet to announce the exact release date of "Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King"  to Nintendo Switch.
