'Bones' Season 10 'A Fact,' Show is Officially Renewed

Fans of popular Fox drama "Bones" recently received some good news, as it was just announced that the show has been renewed for a tenth season. Furthermore, no mention was made of the show ending anytime soon.

Kevin Reilly, Fox's Chairman of Entertainment, released a statement earlier today, in which he praised the show highly, and discussed the reasoning behind renewing "Bones" for a tenth season.

"Over the course of nine seasons, Bones has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can. Our viewers have embraced Emily, David and the entire cast and characters of Bones as their very own, and I think they are going to love what Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have planned for Season 10!" Fox's Chairman of Entertainment said.

The fact that the show was renewed for a tenth season should come as no surprise, as Kevin Reilly hinted at renewal in early January.

Reilly spoke at the Television Critics Association winter press conference where he said, "we're negotiating on Bones for Season 10, and I expect it will be back," he said, according to TV Guide.

Stephen Nathan celebrated the announcement of the show's renewal via the social media site Twitter. He also revealed that the show will be moving back to it's original night, Monday, as soon as March of 2014.

"#Bones Season 10 is a fact. And we'll be back on Monday night in March!" Nathan said via his Twitter account.
