'Captain America' News: Directors Reveal Steve Rogers No Longer Captain America

"Captain America" directors, the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, bared on Wednesday that the dropping of Captain America's (Chris Evans) own shield in Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest saga, "Captain America: Civil War", is a sign that Steve Rogers was relinquishing his identity.

Fans remember how Steve Rogers gave up his shield on the last clips of the latest movie released by MCU. This left a lot of hearts broken as Rogers will now become a fugitive, who will let fellow prisoners escape jail and will hide in Wakanda.

According to Joe Russo, Rogers' giving up his hero identity is a huge hindrance to his personal choices.
