'Castle' Season 8 Episode 3 Spoilers: Castle Goes Undercover

In the new episode of "Castle" entitled "PhDead," the official synopsis reads, "Castle goes undercover as a professor after a college fraternity student is killed in a grisly manner. During the investigation, he and Beckett unearth some sinister secrets the university wants to keep suppressed."

In the promo for the episode, it reads, "Castle is relishing his professional acting gig, but the undercover work is unsolicited. Beckett does not want her husband near the case because she needs space to focus on herself, but he has already figured things out."

In the preview for the episode, it would seem that Beckett has some issues with regards to Castle going undercover. Castle being undercover should provide some really great and fun moments that the fans will enjoy.

The previous episode began where the previous episode ended. Kate was staring out a dirty window. She told her friend Vikram to get some rest while she checked her own wound in the bathroom. She and her friend were saved by Rita, Castle's stepmother who refused to answer any of her questions.

Kate explained about the phone call and she said that she lied to Castle about it. She was grazed by a bullet and she learned from Vikram that her entire former team at the attorney general's office was killed.

Kate had looked for suspicious activity that Senator Bracken was involved in two years ago when she was at the attorney general's office. She visited the senator in prison. Meanwhile, Hayley and Alexis were following up on a lead.

Kate and Vikram were standing in the kitchen of Rita's hideout. Kate discovered that there is a dirty analyst inside the CIA, who had been using the resources in order to smuggle drugs. Kate eventually reunited with Castle and they had a confrontation inside the office. In the end, Kate left Castle.
