'Chicago Fire' Season 6 Episode 7 Spoilers: Antonio And Gabby Pray for Father's Recovery

Antonio (Jon Seda) will be there for his sister Gabby (Monica Raymund) as they both try to be strong for Ramon's (Daniel Zacapa) sake in the upcoming second half of the current season of "Chicago Fire."

Last fall finale, Gabby had the shock of her life when it turned out that her father was the stabbing victim she and Brett (Kara Killmer) were supposed to save. The episode ended with a cliffhanger, with the viewers having no idea whether Ramon will survive or not.

Showrunner Derek Haas told TVLine that the next episodes would deal with the aftermath of the incident. He said that Gabby's brother, Antonio, would be around as both the Dawson kids wait for their dad's fate.

"Yes. He's going to be, for sure, in the next two [episodes], and then [there's] a little bit of a break where you think, 'Oh, that was short,' but it's not going to be as short as the audience thinks. I know our audience well enough to know after the events of Episode 8, they're going to be like, 'Why would they give us this if they're not giving us more?!' And then there will be more," the EP teased.

Meanwhile, the change in Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Severide's (Taylor Kinney) relationship is making the fans happy. Last episode, he labored to bring her back to Firehouse 51 when she was supposed to be transferred to the CFD's PR department. It was revealed that Hope (Eloise Mumford) was behind it all. Haas teased that though it was made clear to Hope that she should stay away, the character might still come back.

The EP also teased about the kiss Stella and Severide shared when she was drunk. According to him, she was bluffing when she said she could not remember what happened. Severide was patient when he let Stella off the hook, but something has got to give sooner or later for these two. As for Brett being apologetic about bringing in Hope to Firehouse 51 and causing problems for Stella, Haas said that the two women would talk things out soon.

"Chicago Fire" season 6 is currently on hiatus. According to CarterMatt, the new episodes will likely air in January.
