Between them, the White Sox have enjoyed the better run as they are 8-2 in their last 10 games and are looking to add to their lead with a win over the Orioles.

On the other hand, the Orioles are risking being caught up by the Red Sox as they are only 0.5 games ahead of them at the moment.

After a hot start to the season, the Orioles have only been 4-6 in their last 10 games.

In their last appearance, the Orioles beat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 thanks to a great fifth inning that saw Joey Rickard hit a 406-foot home run to also allow Nolan Reimold and Jonathan Schoop to score to give them that 3-0 lead.

They needed that win as they were down 2-0 in the series and that win could help them turn things around when they face the White Sox.

On the other hand, the White Sox were impressive in their last game as they beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-0.

In that three-game series, the White Sox dominated their rivals as they won 7-5, 10-1 and 4-0. They are definitely in a great spot to play the Orioles as they are red hot.

Chicago will be without Alex Avila and Kevan Smith who are out due to injuries. For Baltimore, Yovani Gallardo and Jimmy Paredes are also out.
