Chris Brown New Mansion Just 8 Miles From Rihanna's Property
Chris Brown has bought a $1.5 million mansion in Hollywood in a move seemingly to celebrate his successful comeback.
Brown, 22, bought a three bedroom and three bathroom 2,473 square foot mansion.
However, it has been highlighted by global media that the new property is just eight miles from his ex, Rihanna’s Beverly Crest mansion.
Brown has been intrinsically linked with pop star Rihanna since he infamously admitted to assaulting her when they were a couple. That incident, which occurred when they were on their way to the 2009 Grammy Awards, has stained Brown’s reputation, and he is only just recovering his image.
After pleading guilty to the assault, Brown was sentenced to five years probation, as well as community service.
The controversial star has been in the news recently for accruing thousands of dollars in parking fines for parking in handicapped zones.
Rihanna herself is also active on the property market; she only recently put her $4.5 million mansion up for sale.
According to The Daily Mail, Brown received a very good deal for the property, as it was listed for just under $3 million just two years ago.
