College QB Found Dead: Cullen Finnerty's Body Found, Grand Valley State University Mourns (VIDEO)

A college QB has been found dead after going missing over the weekend in Michigan.

Authorities have confirmed that former college football quarterback, Cullen Finnerty's body was found Tuesday night, according to Lake County Undersheriff Dennis Robinson.

Officials have confirmed that the cause of death is not yet know, but at the moment in the immediate aftermath of finding his body, authorities are not suspicious of any foul play.

Finnerty was a hugely successful quarterback, leading Grand Valley State University to three Division II national titles and more than 50 wins during his four years in Allendale, Mich.

Finnerty played football for the college last decade.

According to reports, family members had indicated to authorities that Finnerty may have suffered a "mental episode" last week.

The 30 year old went missing on Sunday while fishing along the Baldwin River, near where his family own a cottage in a wooded area in Michigan.

His body was found on Tuesday night about a mile from where he is said to have disappeared days ago. He was reported missing, sparking a massive search in which authorities, family members and current as well as former Grand Valley state football players joined in efforts to find him.

Authorities have now said that an autopsy will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
