At the BAU, Tara and Reid were having another discussion when a poison gas attack got the team's attention. The team jetted to Los Angeles where they met with agent Natalie Colefax in the FBI Field Office.

The team surmised that the attack was not done by an extremist group since none of them had claimed responsibility. Reid and Rossi discovered a time release device at the crime scene. They looked through the survailance footage of the bus stops and discovered a red corvette.

The man earlier was named Charlie Senerack who worked at a medical supply office. He worked with his wife and he was supposed to be on the bus that was attacked. The team tracked Senerack to his office and Tara and Rossi talked to him.

The team looked for chemists with a grudge and they stumbled upon Johann Geiman who used to work at a big city firm. Charlie had gone to Geiman's house only to discover that he was dead and he got the laptop. When the team arrived, they discovered Johann's dead body.

Charlie was asked to pick up a package from a warehouse. The team circled back to Charlie only to discover that he was not the one behind the sarin gas attack but he was pawn.

The real culprit was Mitchell whose brother Theo was killed by Charlie because he was the lover of the wife. Mitchell used Charlie and his daughter as blackmail to do his dirty work. Mitchell was caught when he tried to poison the federal building. The episode ended with Tara and Reid as they discussed a book.

"Criminal Minds" airs every Wednesday.
