'Deadpool' Movie Plot, News, Cast: Negasonic Teenage Warhead May Not Entirely Be a Hero Yet

"Deadpool" is definitely one of the much-anticipated films in 2016. Despite being an anti-hero, the unusual attitude that Deadpool showcases is enough to hold the attention of viewers. When Ryan Reynolds was initially cast for the film, many criticized him for his poor performance on "Green Lantern;" however, it now seems that Reynolds has finally found a comic book character that suits him best. Alongside Reynolds will also be the debut of Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

When initially announced to be playing the part, many wondered who Hildebrand is as well as her character. In an interview with Screen Rant, it was revealed that Hildebrand is apparently a musician and dancer who ended up pursuing her dreams of acting and landing her this big role. As for her character Negasonic Teenage Warhead, the decision to insert her into the story line initially came from Tim Miller's need of more mutants and their character's availability.

Hildebrand explained how she gets involved with Deadpool in the film. She said, "Negasonic Teenage Warhead is Colossus's sidekick. When she gets involved with Deadpool… they have this interesting relationship. It's kind of like brother and sister. They are on the same side. But they kind of butt heads a lot of the time. That's how I would explain it, he's my brother. Me and my brother get along like that."

She also confirmed that Negasonic becomes an X-Men as her relationship with Colossus will pull her into the team, but whether she is a full-fledged hero, it may not be so certain yet. Hildebrand shared, "I would say she's a little questionable, because she is a trainee [of the X-Men team], so she's kind of just growing into her powers. She's still so young, so she's growing into who she is and everything. So I would say she's a little questionable."

Fans await Hildebrand's performance when "Deadpool" is released in theaters on February 12, 2016.
