'Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X' Gameplay Trailer News: First Teaser Features 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' Villains

The "Dragon Ball" franchise continues to heat up the gaming community with its new releases. One of the soon-to-come titles is "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X," and a short gameplay trailer was recently unveiled to give fans a look at the upcoming game.

According to iDigital Times, "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X" integrates a card-based system that fans will be familiar with. Unfortunately, the new teaser doesn't show how the card battles will work for players. Instead, the footage sheds light on some of the villains that fans know very well from "Dragon Ball Xenoverse."

In the 30-second clip, fans can see the following characters in action: Goku Black, Hit, and the Supreme Kai of Time. It is unclear if there will be other characters from "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" that will be added into the upcoming game. Bandai Namco has yet to confirm this matter. So far, there are over 240 characters confirmed for the game.

In "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X," fans will be allowed to create a team of five. The multiplayer mode will let the teams engage in battle. They will be using up to 3,300 cards during a battle. In the history of the series, the upcoming installment has the most cards that players can make use of.

Gematsu adds that there will be a total of eight "Dragon Ball Heroes" missions in "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X." There are also 10 "God Missions," 10 "Galaxy Missions," and eight "Evil Dragon Missions" to challenge players who want to experience the adventure in the highly anticipated title.

"Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X" is expected to be launched in Japan by April 27. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco has not yet confirmed an official release date for North American fans. European players will also have to wait for further announcements if the title will be released in their area.

Bandai Namco will unleash "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X" on the Nintendo 3DS.
