'Empire' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers – Cookie & Lucious Try To Reach The Top Individually
In the upcoming Episode 7 of "Empire" Season 2, Cookie and Lucious are working hard on their separate careers. Cookie goes all out to get publicity and coverage for her music label, "Lyon Dynasty," while Lucious teams up with Jago and plans to turn "Empire" into the biggest music label.
The synopsis for episode 7 titled "True Love Never" states: "Lucious explores the possibility of partnering with Jago as he maps out a plan to turn Empire into a global music monolith; at the same time, Andre struggles to find a balance between his newfound values and demanding career. Elsewhere, Hakeem molds Laura into a star; and Cookie pushes to get Lyon Dynasty involved in a major televised charity concert."
Viewers were happy to find Hakeem alive in the previous episode. In this forthcoming episode, Hakeem will try to create a singing superstar out of Laura. This might get him into trouble further down the season.

Andre, who has a lot of issues to deal with, will have to find ways to fit into the Lyons' family with his new-found spirituality. It will be interesting to see how he manages this.
As per the synopsis, all the characters will be working, not together but individually, to further their own ambitions. This episode might be the first in which Lucious takes things into his own hands and goes deep into the thick of matters to make "Empire" a "global music monolith." He will be busy charting out a strategy with Jago.
Now Jago is the founder and head of a successful music streaming company and Lucious will have to cut a deal with Jago to make "Empire" into a global phenomenon.
Meanwhile, Cookie will be hard at work to somehow get her label, "Lyons Dynasty," huge coverage in an "epic televised charity music event."
The upcoming episode might be setting the stage for a confrontation between Cookie and Lucious as both will fight to put their respective music companies on top of the pile. As this season is now midway, viewers can expect a thrilling cliff-hanger at the end of this season.
The next episode of Season 2 of "Empire" titled "True Love Never" airs on Nov. 11 on FOX.
