According to Variety, Universal Studios and Brand Events will collaborate to bring the live-entertainment tour for fans of the hit franchise. While the locations have not been announced just yet, fans are already gearing up for the tour.

The upcoming "Fast and Furious" tour is expected to deliver an up-close experience that moviegoers only used to see on the big screens. "We are delivering incredibly exciting ways for fans to participate in the worlds out characters inhabit," David O'Connor, executive VP of Global Franchise Management and Brand Marketing added. It is already expected that "Fast and Furious Live" will rally fans around the country and across the globe.

"Fast and Furious Live" is expected to feature some of the hottest cars from the franchise. It is also speculated that some of Los Angeles' underground streets will be featured during the 2018 tour.

Fans will be given live performances from performance drivers who will try to take on the scenes as featured in the "Fast and Furious" films. Brand Events is the same team that worked on "Top Gear Live" so it is expected that the live shows will be at best.

The announcement was made as "The Fate of the Furious" nears its landing on the big screen. While Paul Walker's Brian will no longer appear in the film, fans are looking forward to the performance of Charlize Theron as a villain.

"Fast and Furious Live" arena tour will kick off January 2018. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the locations and specific dates. "The Fate of the Furious" is scheduled to hit theaters April 14, 2017.
