'Fixer Upper' Stars Chip and Joanna Gaines Break Their Silence on Texas Farmhouse Rumors

Rumors surrounding the decision of Chip and Joanna Gaines to end "Fixer Upper" are not the only things hounding the couple. Just this month, talks that the couple had already sold their precious Waco farmhouse swirled, and the couple seems to have had enough of it.

According to a report from E! News, Brock Murphy, the couple's spokesperson, shut down all the rumors, saying the Gaineses are in no way parting with their prized property. "Any report that Chip and Joanna have sold their farmhouse is completely untrue," Murphy said in a statement.

"They have not sold their home and they do not have any plans to do so. The Gaines recently moved their property line to match their fence line—this is not uncommon and is a matter of public record—which is likely what triggered this false report," Murphy added. The Gaineses frequently feature the property on their HGTV show.

According to a report from PEOPLE, the rumors stemmed from certain legal documents regarding the said property that surfaced recently. The documents, however, do not indicate that the property is for sale, rather, it just indicates a small adjustment on the land. "The Gaines recently moved their property line to match their fence line—this is not uncommon and is a matter of public record—which is likely what triggered this false report," Murphy clarified.

In addition, Joanna also took to Twitter to clear the air, once and for all. "We love this place. It's home, which means more to us than anything!" wrote Joanna. She also said that if the news doesn't come from them, then it is probably untrue.

"Fixer Upper" will be saying goodbye after season 5, the couple made sure that it will be packed with surprises. US Weekly earlier reported that the show is slated to feature former First Lady Laura Bush and ex-NFL standout, Tim Tebow. HGTV did not confirm, however, if the two will be the Gaineses' only celebrity guests in season 5.

Fans can expect Bush and Tebow to help the hosts in converting old houses and transforming them into impressive-looking ones.
