The first episode of the season began with the last day of school in spring 1995 and it took the viewers through to summer vacation. Eddie and his friends had their view of summer as a chance to establish themselves as the cool kids of 8th grade. Eddie had a new pair of Reebok Pumps that he was so sure would guarantee his cool status until it suddenly became uncool.

Evan had lost his baby tooth and was afraid of losing his so-called brand. Louis ended up taking the family on his business trip, which was really a secret vacation. Jessica initially took charge and had the kids ride on the free parking shuttle, instead of paying for the admission fee. Louis took over but ended up getting scammed. Eddie chickened out on riding the roller coaster but became cool after Nicole, the older girl he was crushing on, talked to him.

"Fresh Off the Boat" airs every Tuesday.
