'Frozen 2' Rumors: Kristen Bell Surprises Fans at 'Frozen' Sing Along, Sequel a Possibility?

Fans of the Disney animated movie "Frozen" are eagerly awaiting news of a sequel for the movie. Earlier this month, it was finally revealed that there was to be a sequel— in book form, that is.

It was reported that Random House is planning to release four books next year that continues the story of Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the rest of the characters from the movie. The first two books, "Anna and Elsa 1: All Hail the Queen" and "Anna and Elsa 2: Memory and Magic" will debut in bookstores worldwide on January 26, 2015.

At the moment, plans for another film have not been announced, so Disney has made sure to give the fans their "Frozen" fix for the meantime. Earlier this year, a stage-based musical was said to be in development, as well as other plans to expand the brand through the release of "Frozen"-themed merchandise. It's no surprise that the highest grossing animated film of all time has now created an empire that includes branded dolls, costumes, sleepwear, and other memorabilia.

Recently, Kristen Bell, who provided the voice of Anna, surprised fans at the opening night of "Frozen" Sing-Along at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.

Bell spoke with EW before the event, and shared her thoughts on the hit movie.

"There is no way to foresee a movie's success or how much it would touch people. You strive to make the best movie possible and I felt like we did that," she said.

Still, with all the speculations of the actual possibility of making "Frozen 2." it remains to be seen whether Disney will push through with the project. Forbes reports that in light of the film's success, "Frozen" is the one film that would naturally merit a sequel, however, Disney rarely makes a follow up to their animated movies, as the website reports that in its 76 years of making films, the company has only made three direct sequels.
