George Clooney Won't Date Sandra Bullock Due to 'Bro Code'

George Clooney recently addressed speculation surrounding his relationship with Sandra Bullock and the actor explained why exactly he will never date the actress.

In recent weeks the "Gravity" costars have been busy promoting their latest film and critics continue to point out their undeniable on set chemistry. While Clooney, who recently split up with Stacy Keibler, acknowledged that Bullock, 49, is "beautiful" he revealed that they will never have a romantic a relationship.

"She was dating one of my best friends," Clooney told E! News. "There's a certain bro code, you know what I mean? I've known her a long, long time... She looks beautiful, doesn't she?"

The Hollywood Bachelor, 52, has reportedly been close friends with the single mom for several years however even she revealed that their relationship will forever be platonic. Bullock was asked about Clooney during a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

"I think we're probably the only two that haven't dated in the business. I think it's probably because we're a little too similar," Bullock said. When Leno pressed her to explain in what ways they are similar she jokingly said "In all the disturbing ways."

On woman that Clooney is rumored to be dating is his on-and-off love interest, Monika Jakisic. The actor reportedly spent time with Jakisic, who is a Croatian model, on Sept. 25, fueling reports that he has moved on from Keibler, 33, following their July split.

Jakisic reportedly began casually dating Clooney in 2004 and she paid the actor a visit at his Los Angeles mansion in recent days, according to Us magazine.

"They spent hours talking, and have an incredible connection," a source told Us.

Meanwhile Bullock is said to be happily single following her 2010 divorce from Jesse James. The actress has kept a low profile since his affairs with other women were brought to light after her Oscar win for her role in the "The Blind Side" in March 2010.

"We're all where we're supposed to be," Bullock told Vogue when asked about James. "I am exactly where I want to be now. You can't go backward. I'm not going backward. I'm grateful that I'm here, blessed to have what I have. Nobody can be prepared for anything."
