Both Apple and Google released their flagship devices this fall - the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus for Apple and the new Nexus smartphone lineup for Google.

With the two brands competing for market share, the iPhone 6s Plus and the Google Nexus 6P manufactured by Huawei have gone head to head with their impressive specs, with the latter being the first handset of the year to carry the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Google Nexus 6P, with its 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display under Corning Gorilla Glass 4, is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, and an Adreno 430 GPU.

Supported by 3GB of RAM and several internal memory options from 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, the Nexus 6P carries no card slot, and is juiced by a non-removable 3,450mAh Li-Po battery.

Featuring a 12MP laser autofocus and dual-LED flash rear camera, the Nexus 6P also has an 8MP front snapper, as well as 2160p video capability at 30fps.

Measuring 159.3mm x 77.8mm x 7.3mm, the Google Nexus 6P weighs 178g and supports a variety of wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi dual-band, Wi-Fi direct, hotspot, and DLNA.

Unveiled not too long after the Nexus 6P, the iPhone 6s Plus features a 5.5-inch full HD display under LED backlit ion-strengthened IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen glass.

Carrying a dual-core 1.84 GHz Apple A9 and a six-core graphics Power VR GT7600 GPU, it is supported by 2GB of RAM, and 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB internal memory options with no card slot available.

Featuring a 12MP face detection autofocus and dual-LED flash rear camera, it has a 5MP face detection HDR and panorama front shooter offering 2160p video capabilities at 30fps, as well as optical stabilization.

The iPhone 6s Plus weighs 192g, measures 158.2mm x 77.9mm x 7.3mm, and carries a non-removable 2,750mAh Li-Po battery.

While the Nexus 6P has a more impressive specs list overall, including a more powerful processor, a higher resolution camera, as well as more memory and internal storage for a lower price, it lacks the iPhone 6s Plus' 3D Touch feature, and the more distinctively performing iOS 9.
