'Gotham' Season 2 Spoilers: Will Ed Nygma Suffer In Prof. Strange's Hands?

Professor Hugo Strange may have lost his latest creation, Theo Galavan/Azrael, but this doesn't mean that the mad doctor from Indian Hill will run out of options over which next villain he will reanimate to kill his most hated person, James Gordon. In fact, fans might find out who this person will be in the upcoming episode of Fox's hit crime fighting drama TV series "Gotham" Season 2.

Spoiler alert for those who missed the previous episode, "Unleashed," Ed Nygma got caught by the security forces at Indian Hill. Out of his curiosity for what was beyond Arkham Asylum, the former GCPD forensics officer managed to get inside the facility. While there, he was able to help Selina get inside. The sly girl believed that her friend Bridgit is still alive. Unfortunately, Nygma was captured by Strange's men as he tried to make his escape. In the next episode, fans will get to see what will happen to the future Riddler once he meets the professor. Will he, like Theo, be manipulated to do his bidding?

The promo video posted over at YouTube for the upcoming episode titled "Wrath of the Villains: A Legion of Horribles," features the character speaking over the PA: "I need to know what you know and you're gonna tell me."

A sinister laugh was then heard as the camera pans out, showing the young Bruce Wayne locked up in a cell.

Is Nygma now working for Strange? What dangerous situation Bruce finds himself in?

Speaking of the latter, the synopsis from The Futon Critic said that Bruce will learn that a friend of his is in danger inside Arkham. This prompts the future Dark Knight to team up with Gordon, Alfred and Lucius as he tries to uncover more of Strange's wicked experiments.

In the clip, he can be seen confronting the resident psychiatrist but later on, the bespectacled man called on two orderlies to usher in the Wayne kid.

"Gotham" Season 2 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
