Grandpa Shocks Strangers With His #RunningManChallenge Dance Number – Funny Prank Video

Pranks are often characterized with someone getting the shock of their life or worse, getting hurt in the process. The guys from The Royal Stampede, however, do their best by surprising people with their own version of comedy.

In this particular video posted earlier this May, partners Richy and Mark can be seen hitting the streets with yet another prank number. This time around, one of them act as someone's grandfather who looks so frail that he's bound on a wheelchair. The old man's companion asked strangers if they could watch out for his grandpa for a bit as he runs off to do some errands. The man did warn the unsuspecting public to just ignore his grandfather when he talks about "the running man."

As he went off, the elderly did start to ask about the person in question. The people obviously just shrugged off the grandpa's incessant query. Suddenly, he just jumps up from his wheelchair and starts dancing the latest dance craze called The Running Man.

The people's reaction is a must-see!

The rest of the scenes saw the younger man asking strangers if they know something about the Running Man. As if on cue, the grandpa stood up once again to show off his dancing skills.

For the uninitiated, the Running Man is a fad where participants dance as if they are running and with their arms enclosed to their bodies. It is particularly performed to the tune of the 1995 hit RnB song by Ghost Town DJs called "My Boo."

The dance took off to its popularity during the 2016 NCAA championships when varsity players from the University of Maryland released a video of them performing the said craze.

The running man dance style itself is claimed to have come originally from Janet Jackson's music video for her song "Rhythm Nation," around the mid-80s.

As for the challenge, the goal would be to come up with the most creative dance number of the running man style. It is often done alone, by pair, or with a group.
