Season 5 had a mysterious ending and Season 6 will pick up the show from where it left off. Nick will face Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) now that the forces of Black Claw have been silenced. With Capt. Renard on the seat of power as the mayor of Portland, Nick has to make his stand in protecting the city and his loved ones. This goes most especially to Nick's child, Adalind (Claire Coffee). The challenge will take an all-out force from Nick and his allies to bring peace into the city.

The final season will also have Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) struggle to raise their child in a chaotic world. On the other hand, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) will have to face her identity crisis.

Reports say that the show had challenges with regards to renewing it for its new season. Bree Turner, who plays Rosalee Calvert, shared in a report that as actors, they have always been appreciative of the show. She noted that they are always having fun. The cast and creators have already been notified of the season's fate so they will have a chance to prepare for other big projects.

Grimm Has High Ratings

Grimm has gained good results from viewers and became one of the highest-rated scripted series despite being a self-starter show. NBC owns the show and has done very well internationally.

Season 6 has fewer episodes compared to the previous season. The fifth season had 22 episodes in total while Season 6 only has 13 episodes. This created an alarm before the end of the show was confirmed.

David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter created the show. Greenwalt and Kouf are also the executive producers. Other executive producers are Sean Hayes and Todd Miliner from Hazy Mills. The "Grimm" is produced by Universal Television.

This supernatural drama TV series "Grimm" Season 6 will air on January 6, 2017 and will run every Fridays at 8 p.m., an hour earlier from the previous season's schedule.
